And if so, what kind specifically? Would it only be illegal drugs or also antidepressants or ADHD medication for instance? It seems very likely to me that they could just lie and say they have no history of depression of ADHD.

Yes but can't answer your specific question. I was a donor years ago and took half a vicadin for an old sport injury that had flared up. It came up in my blood work a couple of days later that I had a narcotic in my system. It hadn't even occurred to me to mention it and it was fine in the end.

Are you asking bc you don't want the possibility of genetic depression/ADHD or because you don't want them ever taking medication? I can't tell

Op - yes they could lie. But your clinc / RE has to work with them, which means a physical and blood work. We had a donor who tested positive for marijuana use at ths physical. We flushed her. The donor also get a psych evvaluation.
Havng gone through this process, all I can tell you is that there is a level of trust you have to accept. Or you need to find a special arrangement where someone will do more in depth vettng than a normal agency.

Kind of, yes. If you are concerned that it might damage the eggs, you will get one type of answer.
If you are concerned about whether a donor has any mental issues, you could get another type of answer.
If you are trying to see whether you can donate eggs while pursuing your drug habit, you will get a third.

And the reason is because the exact answer to your question is probably not the most helpful answer we can give.
