How far out? There's a pastry place (Pastry Xpo?) in Merrifield in the Mosaic district that might sell these - they have all sorts of pretty little pastries. Paul (near Federal Triangle) might also have them - they're a French bakery/cafe.

Harris Teeter. Call first as not all locations sell them.

+1 on Patisserie Poupon, they are excellent! A little pricey but so worth it.

Le Caprice in Columbia Heights has pretty much everything. What do you mean by petit fours? The little iced square cakes? Or the French definition, small things from the oven?

Anyway, they'll make anything to order.
