where can I get helium balloons filled for birthday party?

I have the ballons, but I 'm just not interested in getting the little helium tank at this point.

Will Giant or Safeway fill them? Or do I need to go to Party City? It's a little bit of a hike (we're in Silver Spring).

Our local Giant has helium baloons. Do you ever see helium party balloons attached along the check-out lines?

I would just call the florist at your local Giant or Safweay and inquire?

No, no, I HAVE the balloons already (read the original post!). I just need to know if the Giant or Safeway will fill them. Not sure what their policy is.

I was hoping for a quick reply, as calling the store for anything can mean a painful wait on hold (and DS is uber needy today...sigh).

Places like Hallmark will charge a fee for inflating your own balloons. I imagine it is the same for the grocery stores.

Your party balloons probably won't make a difference, but there is a helium shortage right now. You may have a hard time finding it, and given it is a finite resource, you may want to reconsider the helium balloons.
