Hi!! I'd like to get your thoughts on accessories for retrofitting our Uppababy Vista to accomodate our newborn second child. The Uppababy Vista stroller is mainly used for walks to the park and the farmers market -- we have separate strollers for the car (Bumbleride Flight) and the carrier (Graco attachment used with a Bugaboo Bee base).
The riders include a 22 month old and a 2 1/2 week old. I mostly wear the 2 1/2 week old, but with the weather heating up, I'd like the option of putting the newborn in the Uppababy bassinet -- in which case, I bet the 22 month old will, of course, also want to ride the stroller. For Vista owners out there, what do you think is the best option: 1. Add a rumbleseat -- but will my toddler like sitting in the bottom seat? It has a terrible view, I imagine. 2. Add a piggyback -- but will my toddler get tired of standing? 3. Add a rumbleseat and piggyback. Thanks for your thoughts! |
| We love love love our uppa rumble seat. I didn't use it much until the #3 was closer to 4-5 months and #2 was 2.5 but we love it. Used it daily for a year and still going strong even though I'm sure the older one has outgrown the weight of the seat. Now that she's older she can hop in and out on her own and it's great for walks, shopping, ect. She loves facing me, and I can actually hear her talk, I keep the baby facing forward which gives a little more of a view for the lower seat. So easy and convenient to pop the seat on and off. Especially in a restaurant, or while traveling, and I love that it's not a massive commitment to a double stroller. The rumble seat actually tucks nicely into the basket if you need to take it off while you are out. After 3 kids we've gone though our fair share of strollers for various reasons and is one is by far the favorite. |

| our toddler HATED the rumble seat so we got rid of the uppa with tears in our eyes - man i love that stroller - and got a BJCS. DC loves facing out and hops in and out by herself at 23 mos. baby is all the way up facing me what is easy on my back. we like the BJCS very much. |
