IUI with no meds OR stim shot

Has anyone heard of this? My RE is recommending it for the first try.

If you are a female with no fertility issues AND no male partner, I could see doing it. Otherwise, why is your RE recommending it for you?

Unless they think it's a CM issue?

Why not! Timing is everything!
It works! It is also low cost and not invasive and no risk of multiples. I think it is a great suggestion for a first try, if you are both healthy, and no issues can be found.

17:13: Yes, good point. Hostile CM would be another good reason to try an IUI w/o Clomid or trigger.

We did this. We knew the odds were low, but our only diagnosis was MF so there was no indication to help me produce an egg.

After switching insurance, we moved on To IVF/ICSI.

I did two IUIs with no meds - though I did use the trigger shot - both resulted in BFP's
