Just moved into a new house and have twins that are about to start crawling. I have not had hardwood floors before and I am wondering what is best to give them a clean every so often. It is not a huge space. Something fast and easy that does not take up too much space in a closet. Some kind of steam mop/vacuum or something?
Thanks for any thoughts! |

We just had new hardwood installed and the installer said the best thing is just to use water with vinegar--1 gallon water with 1 T vinegar, or more if needed. Don't get them soaking wet, just damp.
I also like the "mops" that are the big flat head with a cloth cover over it to get dust, etc. Vacuuming works too, but sometimes you do need to mop. |
| another vote for vinegar and water...works on any floor |
