Where to buy seed potatoes and asparagus crowns?

| Not sure if this belongs here or in Home Improvement, but can anyone recc a good place to get seed potatoes and asparagus crowns? Either a local place or online is ok. Thanks! |

| We got ours from Home Depot. I've seen them in most of the seed catalogs as well. |

Just FYI on the asparagus crowns - really prep the heck out of your bed. They will be there forever, and your best chance to improve the soil and get rid of nasty weeds is now. The asparagus plants will grow very tall and ferny (6 feet high and a couple feet wide) by early summer so give the bed some good room. And you need to let the plants bulk up for a couple years before you harvest more than a test spear or two. So, so worth it - I love fresh asparagus! |
