Mirena vs. Paraguard

I'm trying to decide - it seems like there has been a lot of anti-Mirena posts on here as of late. Just when I was leaning in the direction. 
Thoughts? Anyone who has been on Paraguard? This will be my first IUD as I hit the 40 mark...sigh. |

| I've had a Paragard for about 8 years that I got at the age of 29 after the birth of my one and only child. Love it. I wasn't comfortable with the hormones in Mirena and I knew that I didn't want any more kids. I will probably get another when when this one has to come out in 2 years. |
