Forest Edge ES - bullying??

Looking to move into our first home and considering the area of Reston that feeds into Forest Edge (our price range). Please tell me what you think of this school. I was VERY concerned when I saw these reviews about bullying:

I have 2 kids there and we love the school. The new principal is still feeling her way and has big shoes to fill. I have not heard of any bullying. When we moved, my older child had some transition issues getting to know other kids and the counselors were both extremely helpful.
I do know of one AAP teacher who is awful and has said very cruel things to some kids, so that may be what some of that feedback relates to. My kids are in general ed, so no interaction with that particular teacher. |
