I have never done this but I don't think I have had lunch or dinner in bed either. |
Eating in bed sounds gross to me. |
On our honeymoon...our 6 year anniversary is next week. |
I suppose that I have sat on the edge of a hotel bed when there weren't enough chairs to eat the room service meal. Other than that, never. Agree with PP, it's gross to eat in bed. |
My kids bring me breakfast in bed every Mother's Day. It's a sweet tradition. There isn't anything gross about it. It's on a tray, I eat it quietly and quickly; they always drop it off and then leave me for "peace and quiet". Then I get up and go to the kitchen to rave about it. Typically one item is over salted while the other is cold, but I wouldn't give it up and I'll be sad when these days are over. ![]() |
I'll eat a snack in bed sometimes with my laptop. Or when I'm sick and DH beings me food up there. But not for "luxury." |
Never. |
Only in the hospital. |
Never (except in hospital, like PP says). It just doesn't seem that comfortable to me. |
This made me smile. My kids do the same thing. They are very proud of themselves for "surprising" me. |
Never as an adult. My mother used to bring me food on a tray when I was sick.
It's just the thought of spilling tea or crumbing the sheets. For me, the bed is a clean, restful haven. I take a bath/shower in the evening and never wear my pyjamas except in bed. |
at least 2x a week.

Never. |
My small kids eat their "first" breakfast in our bed almost every morning. It's a family bonding moment. There are crumbs and spills. I am really going to miss this time when they outgrow "first" breakfast with Mom & Dad. We're weird - I know. |
