Writing Tutor for 6th Grade Boy with working memory and processing speed issues

We are looking for a writing tutor for our son. I started with Lab and found out that they are restructuring their tutoring services and no longer take new clients. We are in Arlington. Any suggestions about where to start; we are hoping to get something going before the school year is over and then continue during the summer. Thanks so much in advance.

| Check out the referral lists for interdys.org and asdec.org. Both are for dyslexia, but most of the tutors also have had a formal writing training. |

| Contact the special education teacher or counselor at his school. While they won't be able to tutor him, many schools have a list of tutors who have contacted them. There may also be a teacher listserv that they can post a request on for you. |
