Botox only lasts 8 weeks?

This is what my friend told me, that is how often she has to go. Is this true? I thought it was supposed to last at least 3 months, maybe more. I would like to do it but want to know what I am in for financially. I am in my late 30s so don't need a ton of it. TIA.

It really depends on the person. Dysport lasts longer for me than Botox, but I've heard different people say the opposite. Also, the more you have it done, the longer it tends to last. I've been doing it for about a year and a half and it lasts about 6 months on me. My first treatment lasted 3 months.
