sports bras

just started running (couch to 5K) and my sports bras (from old navy and target) don't seem to be doing it for support. i'm a c cup. any recommendations for a new one. imagine i may need to spend more than $12.

I buy mine from title ix or bounce as the bra line site is called. They are expensive but they do have sales and I don't mind last year's style or color. I am a runner at 5+ miles most days so I need several good bras. I do think with this sport you must buy good shoes and good bras.

There are a number of old threads on this issue in this forum so maybe do a search. I always recommend Champion Powerback with underwire. Sold in bra sizes, and runs about $20-25 on Amazon.

This is a good article: http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/workout/gear/sports-bras/

Based on it, I got the Moving Comfort Juno (but I'm a D cup). It's definitely great for keeping things in place -- way better than my old, standard Champion ones. One con is that it's a bit difficult to get on and off. Not a huge deal, but at the gym it can sometimes be awkward.

thanks. i bought one at lucy over the weekend. $49, most i ever spent on a sports bra (and maybe any bra) but wow, makes a huge difference. i had a champion one too that is nowhere near as supportive....
