Brunch at the Four Seasons - worth it?

Anonymous
I've made a booking for it in a few weeks but am wondering whether it is worth it. I'm not interested in mass catered piles of cheap fried food which I know buffets can be. I'm sure the Four Seasons isn't that but is it really worth it. What's the quality of the range of food. And are you hurried along?

We went for Thanksgiving one year, and the salads were amazing. The kids loved the dessert room and the chocolate fountain. We were definitely not rushed by the staff. I'm not sure I would say it's "worth it"--I'm not a big buffet fan in general. But the food is good.

It's more like a glorified buffet. I thought it was a fun splurge, and pretty yummy, but I've had better brunches in DC. No we were not hurried along. I think it's worth doing once, but I don't know if we will do it again?

What do you mean by glorified? Is it just because there wasn't a huge range of stuff?

And where do you think is better?

Good quality, lots of food, good variety, wasn't hurried along, still when the bill came it was a little bit of a shock. Agree w the pp who said its worth doing once.

It's definitely better than other brunch buffets in the area (Kennedy center, Normandie farm, etc.) Is it worth the money? Depends on whether you like buffets.
