Suggestions for location for Mother's Day brunch with little kids

Looking for some suggestions of where to go for MOther's Day brunch -- ideally will have a buffet and be family-friendly. We're in Arlington. Liberty Tavern is booked already.

Would love to hear ideas too...

As much as that day sounds good to go out, I have to tell you as former restaurant worker that is a day where service is never going to be the best, and neither is food....(waiters & waitresses dread Mother's Day).

Lebanese Taverna in Arlington has a buffet brunch.

Boulevard Woodgrill? Whitlows? Ireland's 4 Courts?

Last year we ate at Liberty for Mom's day without a reservation --was outside though. It was great even though I was unable to make a reservation in advance (they cap the number of reservations but still allow downstairs dining). Other options that are fine for brunch with kids: Lyon Hall, American Tap Room, Market Tavern (formerly Harry's), Restaurant 3. All have openings and very good brunch menus. Don't have the buffet brunch that Liberty has if that's what you're going for, though.

Last year we went to Gadsby Tavern in Alexandria and it was so much fun. Lots of childrend, food was good and then we went to Mount Vernon. Wonderful day.

I think anywhere becomes a lot more kid-friendly on mother's day ...

Clyde's- it's always noisy and bustling, so screaming kids fade in very well!

We also like Cafe Deluxe for the same reasons.

We are headed to Clyde's. J Gilbert's in McLean has a nice Easter brunch. Tons of kids there. Not sure if they do MD though.

I wouldn't take young children out to brunch on Mother's Day!

Balduccis take out - quiche, fruit platter, chocolates, and delicious pastries.

Believe it or not, Crystal City Sports Pub actually has a fantastic brunch buffet on Sundays. Loud, large and child friendly, with good (not great) food.

Ugh. I despise going out to eat on Mother's Day.
