Toms shoes look comfortable although I've never tried them on. I am a teacher and am on my feet all day. I always wear flats and I need something really comfortable. TIA! |
Running shoes. |
Thanks but I can only wear something casual like that on Fridays. |
I find them super ugly. I actually find it encouraging that they are so popular; it must be the social message vs. their looks. And they can't be that comfy.
What about those sort of sneaker shoes/flats? With the velco straps? If you can't wear sneakers I doubt Tom's is okay. |
I think they are comfortable. They have no arch support. I would try Privo or Bjorn shoes if I had to stand all day. |
I'm a teacher too and those look like murder. No arch support whatsoever. |
I don't know if this will make sense, but...they are super comfortable on my foot, but they do not provide enough support to wear if I am on my feet all day. I feel the same way about flip flops. So maybe it's just me and my crappy feet physiology, but I'd vote no for all-day comfort.

They have a little bit of support. I was able to teach in ballet flats, and moth others prefer more support, so I may not be the best judge. |
Get the flip flops with arch support. |
I have a pair and like them, but I wouldn't wear them if I were going to be on my feet all day. |
Love my Toms. They are so comfortable. |
Same. I stand at work all day and find them to be amazingly comfortable. I walk in them a ton, as well. |
No support. Fell apart after only a few wears. |
I've seen a couple of teachers at my kids school wearing them. They said they were so comfortable.... don't know these teachers are young so maybe it's about style and not comfort???

Love my Toms - not sure how they do it, but they're so comfortable. They feel like slippers now that they're broken in. I wear them almost every day (sahm). |
