Right now, the only people practicing are the GA/GA2 players aside from the ones who did super y and it is mostly club jerseys out there. It is GA preseason optional training. It is mainly club jerseys. I know you really need to push your fake narrative, but it simply isn't reality.

So for all the returning players that have FCV Jerseys - is the GA crest on the jersey? GA1 players have the Girls Academy crest on the jersey, GA2 players do not - same jersey just one with a crest and one without

We are in optional preseason right now and the field is mostly returning player jerseys and that's with a bunch at super y and not even on the field. So you do the math. Saying it over and over doesn't make it true. Yes, some players left for Revolution or other clubs. No, the world hasn't ended. Soccer will go on.

We are talking about the existing FCV GA teams. 95% of those players left. Can't speak to the other FCV teams.

2012 4 of 22 stayed. ~82% left
2013 3 of 23 stayed. ~87% left
2014 100% left at beginning of Spring
2015 100% left at beginning of Spring

So the parents took their 8, 9, 10, and 11 year olds to another club.

In all seriousness, hope the kids continue with development and enjoyment of the sport. Good luck to kids regardless of club.

good for the people who left. TSJFCV is the only for-profit soccer club in the area.

You must not know how non-profits actually work if you think this means something.

The numbers don't lie. I don't get the need for a second thread other than the try and act like none of this happened/is happening.

Players who chose to follow their coaches and leave are gone. No one is disputing that. But this doesn’t mean those teams have 0 players. The current players may not be relevant to you, but they are relevant to us.

Now they have all the kids who couldn’t make the team the last X amount of years.

I have no dog in this fight. I am grateful to have a boy.

That said - it does pose an interesting hypothetical.

IF FCV has lost 'All' their talent and the 'amazing' coaches that predicted it, AND their new teams and new coaches are able to be competitive, then then club is doing something right.

And I don't think they have to be the grand champions winning whatever gold medal fancy trophy Emmy, Grammy, Oscar Tony, tournament is considered the best.

I think truly competitive, particularly against VRSC and VDA will speak volumes.

Conversely, if the "receiving" clubs aren't able to make hay with the talent they have attracted, it demonstrates that you can't just "lift and shift" the talent and get the same results.

Considering this forum never agrees on anything, I expect those goalposts to move.

I think the pressure is more on the 'receiving' clubs. If it takes FCV a few years to build up to the results of what they had, everyone will point to #GAshuffle2024 as the reason. If the 'receiving' team takes a couple years to build those results, people can point to the same reason, but it won't have the same impact, because they received the coaches and talent.
