What do you use OTC for adult acne?

Since having DS, my skin is a mess (at about 1 yr PP). I have blackheads all over my face and because I am slightly OCD, I tend to pick them which is giving me scars. I really need to find something OTC (over the counter) to clear up my skin but am having no luck finding anything. I've tried Proactiv too but am allergic to it. I don't want to use a BCP either since we want to TTC in the next year or so. What have you had luck with and/or what is your daily skin care regiment? Any tips or recommendations are greatly appreciated!!!!

Why OTC? I suggest going to a dermatologist. If you do, tell her you plan to get pregnant so they can prescribe accordingly.

Use benzoil peroxide and salcylic acid, and gentle cleanser, and lotion. Also AHA products help. You can also try using a clay mask.

I use nutragena acne wash. It took a few weeks to get used to it. It really makes me peel which is good.

I combine it with disposable scrubby pads I get at CVS to keep the dead skin off.

Really clears out my pores.

For blackheads I recommend the Clarisonic with the deep brush. Use it every day at first and then every other day if you want.
