High AMH levels?

Last week I received my hormone level test results. FSH was 6, which appears to be good. Estradial was 50. AMH was 6. The doctor said that the AMH was excellent and a good predictor of fertility. But when I got home, I read that AMH levels above 3 indicate potential problems like PCOS. My doctor didn't mention that. Perhaps he doesn't think that will be an issue, but now of course I'm concerned about PCOS. Does anyone else have high AMH levels? Has it been a problem?

Ask your doctor and demand a complete explanation of all the tests.

An AMH of 6 is considered optimal fertility. You're fine.

I agree with the above. My doctor said that the best AMH levels are between 3 and 10. PCOS is only really a concern if you are above 10.

I had similar AMH numbers and my RE was very, very happy with them. Got pregnant that cycle.
