JKLM pet peeve

DCUMers always leave out the last M "Mann". Especially since Mann is the best school out of the bunch. I understand that Mann's demographic and DCUMs demo don't intersect but you've got to include us. Kthxbai.

I'm happy that we are left out, OP. JKLM issues are often not Mann issues. When a thread is about a Mann issue, I'd rather see "Mann" in the title.

Mann is primarily an in bounds school. I don't know the exact percentages but I do know that there are very few OOB students. I'm sure Spring Valley has a community forum where Mann issues are discussed, but since the school is impossible for the rest of the city to get into, why discuss it?

Mann must have more problems than we, the great unwashed, can tell from our OOB perspective. For one, their boosters can't spell. Maybe Mann should be left off of the JKLM designation?

I frankly have always thought it referred to both, somewhat inelegantly. Never thought about Mann being left out.

Generally, when people answer the inevitable question every few months: What is JKLM? The answer is usually some variation on Janney, Key, Lafayette, Mann/Murch.

Oh, and define "best school out of the bunch"

I think this is a hard question to answer, but while Mann is very good I do no think it wins on test scores, the most obvious answer. So, what is the basis for your assertion, the welcoming community we hear so much about on here?
