Hey there -
I am wondering what trick, tips, and techniques you have successfully used to calm down and stay sane during the TTC process. For me, things will be fine, until I climb into bed all tired and ready to sleep and then bam! Racing thoughts, worries about near and far future, and a snow ball effect so I being to worry about work and my SO's work etc. too. This is not good for baby making, I know! So, any thoughts on how to control these thoughts and better approach each day? |
| yoga, acupuncture helped me somewhat but yes I know exactly what you are going through. Do everything you can to put yourself first. Eat well, get as much as sleep as possble. I also saw a hypnotherapist twice when I started the shots. It was the most relaxed hour of my week with her. we also had planned a few weekend getaways for right after te 2WW (I am doing transfer tomorrow), so no matter what the outcome either we will at least be out of town to deal with it on our own or else we will use the trip to celebrate good news. I am a firm believer that while stress is not good for the woman(emotionally) ultimately conception will/will not occur because of other reasons.
Think of all the babies conceived during troubled times (holocaust/depression era/abusive relationships/poverty/addictions.and so on) That said...wishing you the best of luck. And do what YOU need to do to relax as much as possible...which is crucial in life...for most everything. Therhought on strew/TTC. |

Anji relaxation CDs...I listened to them non-stop through my IVFs.
It took me awhile to find them, (I went through 2 IUIs and 1 IVF before I heard about her)...but they were wonderful and specific for the intervention you were about to undertake. I am going to post the link...because it CAN be difficult to find the one you are looking for, if you don't really know what you are trying to find.
