Can they be recycled? Would an animal shelter or a tennis program for kids be interested in them?
Tennis balls that is.
Take them to a dog park. I am always looking for extra tennis balls for my dogs to fetch.
Where should we leave them at the dog park? In the can or on the ground?
Is this another attempt to have a sexual innuendo thread like the slot or box thread. If so...I'm game. I like a nice set of balls.
Serious question. Lots of extra balls after tennis.
I love balls. My dog can destroy one within a week. Let's meet up.
|
I'm confused. Why not keep them and use them? Have they lost some air?
Maybe call a local raquet club and find out if there is a recycling program. |
They are perfectly usable, nothing wrong with them. Only used in one session, so gently used.
must have been a gentle divorce
The players like to use new balls so they are used only during one session of play.
I would love gently used balls. I'll play tennis with them as long as they haven't lost too much air. Maybe save a bunch and offer them through freecycle. You wouldn't have to meet up or have the person at your home. You could just give a location where they be left.
Thanks for the suggestions. We'll probably leave some at a dog park and do freecycle postings. But will look into recycling, too.
I like to wash my balls in a gentle soap solution. My balls are very clean and ready for play.
Yes, but these are used . . . don't know if they're in the second hand or pre-owned category - b/c there IS a difference |
