brought to you by the same guy who introduced a measure that would have equated single parenthood with child abuse. Senator Glenn Grothman justified the lack of need for an equal pay law by saying that “money is more important to men,” and young men out of college are more “money-conscious” because they expect to someday be the primary breadwinners." The guy radiates male chauvinism to such an extent that he couldn't even be bothered to come up with some bogus economic excuse for the repeal. These are fun times for women, indeed. |
yep
some people are more equal than others |
I didn't read the url but is this a joke? |
OP, you obviously have not been paying attention. The actual war against women being waged by Republicans is not near as important as the make believe war against women being waged by Democrats and their leader Hilary Rosen.
|
It's a good thing the media recognize that the GOP has the authority to choose who speaks for the Dems. |
Lets see. It was the Democrats that forced multiple Republicans at the Federal and state level to restrict a women's abortion rights, to limit access to contraceptives, to defund PP that provides testing services to millions of women every year, to repeal the equal pay act, etc. What did Rosen do. Rosen said something stupid (though accurate in the sense that Ann R has no first hand experience with the economic pressures faced by many women), which Rosen then apologized for. I have yet to hear one Republican political leader apologize for his or her comments.

Republicans are the gift that keeps on giving. You would think they might tone it down in an election year. |
hmmm less frivolous law suites against businesses are bad? Bad for lawyers and people looking to cash in!!! FYI I have quite a few women colleagues that have attempted to sue a few company's i have worked with in hopes of out of court settlements even though incidents never happened. |
