Ukrainian victory over Russia is inevitable

LMAO yeah right. For the cost of 5% of our annual military budget, we've sat back with ringside seats to watch Russia, supposedly the the 2nd most powerful army in the world, grind to a halt and suffer massive losses, and its leadership now at the point of a near coup.

NATO is gaining members, and western partnerships are growing stronger, while Russia can't even get a return phone call from its CSTO "partners." Russia is a complete laughing stock.

This is the sort of thinking that will ultimately cost Ukraine more than had they just let their Russian majority territories go.

The Ukraine is simply incapable of dislodging Russia from Crimea and most of the other territory it currently controls. The Ukraine can only keep up this resistance so long as the West is willing to fund and supply them. Western stocks are being rapidly depleted in key areas, and the financial burden is causing pushback. Further, it can only keep up resistance so long as its men are willing to walk into the meat-grinder. There are more and more stories of sabotage, refusal and draft dodging every day.

The Ukraine simply lacks the demography to sustain its losses and have anything like a functioning nation when this is all over. Its best case scenario involves mass population replacement from the developing world.

If/when the government collapses, its going to be hard to keep Polish and Hungarian "peacekeepers" from gobbling up parts of its territory.

Ukraine as an independent nation is pretty much a long shot at this point. Its going to get chopped up, and what is left will be entirely dependent on foreign nations. Its a much greater cost than letting the Russian parts go free.

Or it will be an extremely weak country with poor standards of living, which often happens to countries after the western support is withdrawn or diminished.

Zelensky tells a BBC interviewer that there will not be a presidential election next year: “In accordance with the law, elections need to happen in a time of peace, when there is no fighting,” Zelensky told the BBC when asked if there would be a presidential election next year.

Not that it would matter much with opposition parties banned.

The USA has more debt than the rest of the world combined.

We are defaulting on debt paying with printed dollars worth far less than what we borrowed.

On the barometer front Vice just released a video on YouTube that included an interview with an injured Ukrainian soldier. He is quoted saying: “I don’t know what the government’s plans are, but it looks like an extermination of their own population. Like, of the combat ready and working age population. That’s all.”

There is also video circulating on twitter of a Ukrainian officer using a grenade on his own troops because they refused to attack.

I won't directly link either as they are likely NSFW, but they can be found pretty easily.

Sure. Tell me when Ukraine’s 9 armored brigades equipped with modern tanks make an appearance. They have been sitting this out. Russians have no reserves demonstrated by the Wagner drive to Moscow. A break through will happen and when it does Russia could totally collapse. Remember they just lost about 30-40k from the Wagner group. This is be hard to make up.

One side has something to fight for the other does not.

+1 While the Russian warlords squabble with each other, the Ukrainian army is successfully liberating the occupied territory. A Happy Day!

I think this is a misportrayal as there were specifically targeted individuals who were viewed as corrupt, pro-Russia or otherwise problematic to the war effort. Poroshenko for example was not targeted, despite being an opposition candidate to Zelenskyy, and likewise many other opposition candidates were not targeted in this way.

So you believe Putin sent wave after wave of his own men to soak up all the world's bullets so that China could gain an advantage in a theoretical war?

Is this you?
