Wayside or Lakewood district

From an academic rigor point of view, which one would you pick:
Wayside/Herbert Hoover/Churchill or
Lakewood/Robert Frost/Wootton

Both are equally good so if you are looking at houses, I would just find the house/neighborhood I like the most within your price range.

Wayside. I have never heard anything good about Lakewood. I have one friend who didn't redshirt her child and found that Lakewood was horrible for him in terms of stress, expecting too mnay worksheets, and very little good teaching just teaching to the test. They moved to private after a few years even though they could barely afford it. Another friend has a child that is extremely intelligent. She was bored out of her mind because they only focused on the test. They moved to Bethesda and love their new public elementary school. I had another friend who moved from the Lakewood cluster to Wayside and said she couldn't believe the difference. I have yet to hear anything negative about Wayside.

We're not in either but I'm surprised how consistent the responses were from people with different kids and different interests.
