Do you live there? Are you in your 30/40's with children? If so, do you like it? I love the apartment sizes and love the neighborhood.
Thanks in advance! |

Isnt that building full of old bags who complain about everything?
I used to live in the towers, right down the road and the geriatric population in those buildings seems to be booming. |

They don't call it the Deathchester for nothing.

| We lived in the towers before having kids, it was a younger population then and we sold our 2BR to a young family. Loved the westchester but coop financing was difficult. Great neighborhood though. |
| Which public schools are in-bounds for this building? |
You lived at 4101 Cathedral? I lived there too--in 98-99. I miss having the pool practically to myself. The old people never swam, it was awesome! |
Who knows. However Sibley is very close. |

| We live in glover park, Westchester seems like an old people community - I mean, come on, it has its own restaurant and beauty parlor! |
The restaurant is actually fantastic, btw. And it was so awesome having a baby there and being able to just go downstairs to dinner--and there is this network of tunnels underground that connect a lot of the apt bldgs around there together--there's even a supermarket under ground! I think it is great for people with babies through toddler years--I met several people with young families there. |
| Network of tunnels with a supermarket excuse me what? |
| Deathchester?! Do the old people die in the building that frequently? |
| I live in the Towers and yes, there is a bunch of grumpy (kids-hating) old folks but we have an active Parents Committee. The Westchester is beautiful (inside and out). Check with their front desk to see if there is a parents committee or group. It makes a world of difference. |
