Fauquier County Schools vs. Loudoun County Schools

How do these compare? One home we are looking at is zoned to Fauquier and the other home is in Loudoun.

Are you considering Upperville or Middleburg or somewhere closer in?

Eastern LoCo, near the Fairfax County border, is built out with the highly regarded Dominion and Potomac Falls clusters. The only new housing in Eastern Loudoun is near Trump National Golf Course in Lowes Island.

Stone Bridge and Briar Woods clusters in Ashburn are also highly regarded. I believe Stone Bridge is the highest ranking LoCo HS in the Challenge Index.

Fauquier is far more rural than Loudoun with many residents choosing the private school route. Highland School is a very good private option.

The closer and more expensive the neighborhood the better, i would advise http://greaschools.net and look at FARMS as well as test scores
