New OB at Georgetown

Has anyone already had any interaction with the new OB at Georgetown, Dr Jack Fanale? I was supposed to see Dr Wulf, but she had an accident and will be out until late fall. So Dr Fanale was the only one available at the last minute. If anyone has already seen him, I would love any scoop on him. Thanks!

I saw Dr. Fanale for my first appointment. He was in private practice in Northern Virginia for a number of years before joining Georgetown. He struck me as very knowledgeable and spent lots of time with me answering my questions and explaining the practice. I didn't get a really great read on his personality. He was pretty friendly though with a dry sense of humor. I am seeing Dr. Yuri next because Dr. Fanale will be on vacation when my next appointment is scheduled. Since there are so many doctors in the practice I think they try to get you around to several so that when you deliver the chances are better that you will have met the doctor on call. Anyway, I am happy with my choice to use the practice at Georgetown.

Thanks. I usually try to research doctors and prefer to see someone who is recommended by people I know, so it was a little weird for me to schedule an appt with a doctor I'd never heard of before. It's good to know a little about what he's like. I am actually not pregnant at the moment so I'll be seeing him for gyn. Good luck with your pregnancy.
