Day 21 estrogen levels

Hi-
I have searched for this answer but I am not finding it. I have done several medicated cycles (initially clomid and now femara, some with an ovidrel shot). I typically have a follicle scan where I generally have between 1-3 good size follicles. Despite the good follicle scan my day 21 bloodwork usually comes back showing low progesterone. I have gotten to the point that I never really expect any of this to work, and am mostly still trying b/c DH wants to (we have been on this TTC road for 3.5 years with no pregnancies.)
Well, imagine my surprise when I got a VM from the nurse last night saying that my progesterone looked great, but my estrogen levels were low.
I can't figure out what the role of estrogen is at day 21. Does the low estrogen levels mean that this cycle is once again a bust? I would have asked the nurse, but it was a message.

I to today got day 21 blood results. Progresterone was 86 and estrogen was low at 216. Did you find out what low estrogen means

I agree, it's very hard to find 2ww estrogen levels on the internet.

I don't know the role of estrogen in the 2ww, but I have been to a Napro doctor who has monitored my natural cycles. I know that they like to see my estrogen around 120 or above. That's if I'm ovulating one egg.

They like to see progesterone over 30. Although they are usually supplementing me to get that high a number. I'm assume without progesterone support a number could be a lot lower and still be good. If I remember correctly anything over 15 is good naturally.

PP, your progesterone numbers are awesome. Was this after an IUI/IVF?
