| When I turn on the water, it has such a strange oder, like grass or something. I live in NW DC. Does anyone else notice this? Hate it. |
| Once a year they switch from chloramine to chlorine to disinfect. Maybe that is it. |
| Maybe let it run a minute or two before drinking it. My sister lives in nw and her water tastes like dirt to me, and my (Moco) water tastes like chlorine to her and her DH. They can't even stand the smell of it |
| It may be sulfur (smells akin to gas or rotten eggs). Although I would find that a bit odd where you live, given that you should be on city water. |
Oops! Sorry. I mistook grass for gas in the original post. No idea what it could be... |
| Op I have it too. Is it just from a particular faucet? When we were researching it at first, we discovered that moen faucet filters can cause it. But I notice ours in the bath tub too. Also in NW. |

Probably just the temporary switch to chlorine:

OP here. It is from all the faucets. We filter the water we drink. I hate the smell. It doesn't smell like chlorine but I bet that is what it is. |
Ah, thanks! Not OP, but I recently noticed a recent strong smell and taste of chlorine. |
