How much Fenugreek?

I bought the supplements (capsule form) yesterday from Whole Foods, how much should I take and how long until I will see an increase in my milk production?

BTW, it says 2 pills 2 to 3 times a day. My milk supply is down for a few reasons:

- Menstral cycle (2nd one since DD was born; she's now 6 months old)
- Started a weight loss program, but am following it based upon nursing mothers
- Stress
- DD is now eating 2 meals a day (has been for a few weeks)
- Probably am not drinking enough water

until you smell like licorice is coming out of you dskin. i took at least 3 or 4 3 or 4 times a day and drank pots of the tea (strong!) with the tincture added. it works, but you have to seriously OD on the stuff! it wont hurt you

I take 2 capsules (I think ea is about 640mg) 3 times a day. I started taking it yesterday. I already have a gross taste in my mouth. I heard you need to take it until you smell like maple syrup. From what I read on Jack Newman's website, you should have results in 48-72 hours. Good luck to you!

I said licorice - i meant maple syrup....they say having a baby saps your memory....sigh....

I did 3 capsules, 3 times a day. At that rate, you'll be smelling like maple syrup in no time. I heard that if it works, then you'll see the results in a few days (3-4). It didn't work for me, but best wishes for you!

Thanks everyone. Now I just need to remember to take the stuff...what can I take to remember to take the Fenugreek. ;o)
