Accidental Call Etiquette - Hang up, Call back, Wait on the line?

| Say, "Oh, I'm sorry, I must have misdialed," and then hang-up. |

| Wait on the line. If you hang up, they may call you. |

| If they haven't answered I end the call before they can. If they answer before I realize my mistake and know me I explain briefly what happened, we have a laugh and end the call. If they answer and don't know me I say, "sorry, wrong number," and end the call. |
