Gift for a Meetup Hostess

Anonymous
I have belonged to a meetup group for about 6 weeks now and there is one mom who hosts a lot and is very generous. She always has a delicios spread of food, invited everyone (about 5 adults, 8 kids) to stay for lunch, etc. (With naps, most don't stay.) She had an egg hunt this past weekend and spent a lot of time and money making it special. In the past, she has planned fun crafts and bought all the supplies. She said that she loves to do these types of things and I believe her, but I thought it would still be nice to get her a small token of appreciation. She has an 18-month old son. Any good ideas? (I do always bring food or offer to buy craft supplies in advance, but she says she has that covered.) I could do a Michael's gift card, but was looking for something else. Thanks.

Oooops, meant to write 6 MONTHS.

What about something that is really for her, like a certificate for a manicure/pedicure (or massage, if you have the budget for it)? And maybe include an offer to watch her 18 month old while she goes to use it?

She might feel weird with a gift card (not too far from just handing her cash), insterad I like the idea of offering to watch her son. Maybe next time you offer to bring the project/food/etc. Or pick up a coffee for her on your way over

I would just offer to bring muffins/fruit (or whatever) for your next play date. And do that from time to time.
