Pediatrician for new baby

We know which pediatrician we want to use for our baby.

I don't know if they have hospital privileges where we're delivering.

When do we need to contact them to get our new arrival on their radar screen, talk to them about first appointments, etc?

Call their office and ask. That's usually sufficient.
