child on spring break- NEED ideas for activities!!!

Hello. My 2.5 year old is on spring break and I would like to go somewhere and do something fun. Any suggestions? We live in upper NW DC. Thanks

Is the child potty trained? That's a great activity to fit in this week.

I love the museums downtown and simple, fun activities at home, like making pancakes or extended bath times.

My son thinks a trip to the grocery store is an adventure, so maybe I've got it easy?

Walking in rock creek park, pick a different park everyday, building museum, take a tricycle and lunch and just chill out on the mail, walk around the tidal basin, ride the metro to union station and lunch at Johnny rockets, natural history museum, or the castle, arboretum

Glen Echo for a play or a puppet show. Cabin John or Wheaton Park trains are running for spring break. Aviation Museum in College Park then Ikea for lunch. Playseum in Bethesda.
