I don't think it's that people are jealous of Indy. I think it's that people don't like how that team disrespects the game of lacrosse.
I kinda agree with some of the langley talk. I don't think they are done yet.

This is not a new take at all. It has always been the way the team acts, the amount of penalties they take and the kind of penalties they take, just undisciplined all around. Horrible rep amo nah other coaches and refs this is nothing new.

The sad thing is that with actual coaching, they would be even better. Indy doesn't need all the extra nonsense. If they had the Madison or Robinson coaching staff, they would destroy everyone. It's gonna bite them bad come playoff time.

First, boys get back to class. It is very obvious who you are and where you go to school.

Second, a 'team captain" was on here a few days ago and said he handled this, I guess not, and will be dropping a note to several coaching staffs to take a look at what their team(s) are posting and seem to be doing so during school hours.

Third, Indy plays a style of ball, I get it you don't like it, but deal with it. All you have to do is beat them.

Fourth, They played this way last year, the same arguments were made last year and they seem to have won states. If you think this style is unique, go play teams from around the country or Canada. Again, don't like it, show up on the field.

Fifth, until they lose they are ranked #1, get over it.

Sixth, I am not with Indy, or any current HS team, but I do enjoy the game. This is a place for real conversation and we adults would appreciate it if you would see your way out and hit the wall. If you don't like that, see point #2 above and your coach can handle it. Fair warning has been given.

I couldn’t have said it better myself Dave!

Hey, buster, I know you think it's funny to sarcastically respond to my post, but this is serious stuff, and you need to get a grip. My name is nowhere near Dave, and you have no way of ever finding out my name. You can see your way out of this forum, so we adults can talk serious lacrosse.

Get back to school. It’s a good troll job pretending to be a parent, but to the seasoned vets of dcum it’s pretty clear you’re a student that got bored in class.

As a genuine parent, your tone quite clearly invokes the thought to me that you are no dcum veteran, perhaps, even, you may be.... a troll yourself. I think the coaches of indy need to take a dive into this forum and eliminate the trolls. For me, I say, MAKE DCUM GREAT AGAIN!

I’m going to be blunt here, because some of you clearly need to hear it. As an actual parent who’s been on this forum for years, I’m beyond tired of every disagreement turning into accusations of “troll.” Not everyone who pushes back on you is fake, and constantly throwing that label around just makes this space worse for everyone who’s actually here to talk about our kids.

The “MAKE DCUM GREAT AGAIN” line doesn’t help either. This isn’t about slogans—it’s about basic respect and having real conversations without everything spiraling into nonsense. If you think there are trolls, fine, report them. But calling every person you disagree with a troll just adds to the problem you’re complaining about.

As for bringing in “coaches of indy” or whoever to clean things up, that’s not realistic. Forums work when the people using them act like adults. Right now, too many posts feel like they’re written just to stir things up instead of actually contributing anything useful.

I don’t want to deal with personal fouls and slashes in high school. It’s been 3 years of dangerous plays game in and game out where the only repercussion is a 1 or 2 minute penalty. Then it happens again.. cuz the coach allows it. That’s why no one likes Indy. Btw. Winning doesn’t cancel out the behavior and make it ok. How bout be a good example for high school kids let’s start there. Indy is going to be terrible next year tho and the coach will leave after this year anyways so I guess it is what it is.

Based off what I watched, Indy just played a horrible first half. They still came back down 10-4 and beat an above average team. I still don’t think we should rule indy out of the top 2 rankings, the win against the team from Illinois proves they are capable of being the best in the state.

Indy bashing is fun but I guess we need to get back to other teams.

Will AC thump LB? LB seems on the ropes right now.
Can Oakton upset Langley?

Don’t know enough about AC or LB. But Oakton cannot upset Langley.

I tend to agree with you. That Oakton upset would be a big one. Not sure Oakton has the depth and Langley seems to have figured out how to play without Milone in the lineup.

Least obvious Indy troll trying to get us not to tell the coaches

Langley’s goalie is one of the best players in the state.

Buddy have you ever watched a ROBO game in your life, ever heard of Jeebus? Guys gotta be the best goalie in the state by far.

I watched him play at the tilly game recently, the way he can clear (and save) the ball is mesmerizing. Truly like watching an angel finally finish angel puberty and spread its wings for the first time.

Kid might be bottom 1 goalie in VHSL

If you've never watched a game just say that.

Loyola Academy is not that good. Langley could beat them.

SOCO has a real shot to beat ROBO tonight. They are going to dominate that goalie over there Jeebus, the "Angel of ROBO", kids overrated could give him a fishing net, and he couldn't stop a goal. Prediction 18-16 SOCO.

Just as a point of clarification- every single post between this one above and this current post is and was a fake. I am the OP and did not post any of those.

What you boys need to realize is that-- I can and will send this to your school(s), however I don't need to know who you are, or even get the right school. I just need to point the coach here adn if he just thinks it could be you and your team, he will handle it with you, me being right or wrong about who is responsible.
