Anyone know of activities for babies on Saturdays or Sundays in the Bethesda/silver spring/NWDC/Rockville area?

babies what age?

8 months. I've looked at library and gymboree, but nothing fits our schedule. I would love to get out of the house and not completely bore DS by taking him shopping yet again

babies at that age don't need much stimulation. Just play with your baby, take him on walks, shopping, etc. Of course I work full time, so i don't need to "get out of the house"

????? Babies at that age need a LOT of stimulation!

That said, OP, you can definitely take DC shopping without risk of boredom. Shopping provides plenty of stimulation (people, things to look at/touch/listen to). Swing by a toy store while you're at it

OP, you can still bring the baby to the kid's section of the public library, take him for a stroller walk at the zoo or Brookside Gardens, or go to a bookstore.

If you want something more structured, you could always sign up for a music class. It's great for that age.

Perhaps the PP meant structured stimulation. Going out for a walk in daylight with people and scenery and general noise/music is probably about the right amount of stimulation.
