How do I tone these weird problem areas?

Anonymous
I'm thin, 5'1 ish and 100 lbs, but I have some areas that could use some work. I don't know what some of these areas are even called technically so I'll do my best to describe them.
1) The little fold of fat in between your boob and armpit
2) The very upper/side of your back, just under the shoulder blade, behind the armpit
3) The waist area in the back. If I look in a rear mirror it looks a little like I have love handles
4) The lower back. How do I make it more scooped?

When I'm heavier, I am apple shaped. So I guess I carry weight on my back, as weird as that is. Thanks!

Have you tried a weight training class at your gym? Free weights are better than the machines. I would take a class or hire a trainer for a few sessions to make sure your technique is correct.

sounds like you need to do pushups (take care of your chest and what I call chicken cutlets at the side of my breast) and bask excercises. I agree meet with a trainer and get some coahcing on proper form etc. but I bet you it's gonna be weight lifting you need to so.

I'm 5'8" 135 lbs and have the exact same problem areas. That side boob under the arm pit thing is the worst! Bras squeeze it. No idea what to do about it. I've been down to 125 and still have the same issues.

I'm in my 40s, 5'8" 145 lbs, 36D and loathe my armpit flab as well! I've been as thin as 125 and even then, I still had it (albeit a smaller pocket) but, more importantly I didn't like how small I got everywhere else (i.e. my ass and curves suffered). I came to realize, long ago, that I just had to accept it. We can't control where our fat likes to hang out.

Fellow apples! We usually have great legs, great thighs and asses. We may never look smoking hot in a strapless gown, because we are covering all of our best parts. Focus on knowing how to dress for your body without honing in on the one problem area. Love your body and accentuate the best bits!
