In home daycare - near Mark Center, Alexandria

Our DS will soon be leaving a wonderful in home daycare setting for preschool, and I would love to recommend our provider for anyone looking for childcare. Her home is located near Mark Center (off Seminary Road) in Alexandria. She takes infants from 8 weeks, I think. DS started when he was 3 1/2 months old. She is a loving, kind, knowledgable woman who has been keeping children for over 20 years. She is also currently taking child development classes in the evenings. She keeps a maximum of 5 children at any given time. She has an adult daughter that lives with her and helps out occasionally. My DS adores both of them. I have a somewhat erratic work schedule and she has been wonderful in working with me. Her home is tidy and bright - filled with toys and entertainment for little ones.
