My kids went to Ms. Frances years ago when there were very few 3 year old DCPS preschool programs. I know it was very popular back then and always had long wait lists.
One obviously hard thing was that both my husband and I worked full time when our kids were there. You end up doing a coop day about once a month so we were always trying to figure out who had a less busy day and could be on duty.
Good things: Ms. Frances has seen it all. She knows 3 year old children better than anyone I've met. She is incredibly loving to the children and the kids love her back. It is a play based preschool which I really liked. They play in the classroom for a while, they do a circle time and share, then they might have a book read to them and they go outside for a walk around the neighborhood or to the playground for a good while. It's very low key and focused on socialization.
