When would be the best time for you to go?
I'm planning a nutrition talk on packing healthy lunches for children and I am trying to figure out the best time to offer this to parents of elem. aged kids. Weekends? Weekdays? Evenings before bedtime? Working parents--what would be best for you. SAHM's...how about you? Thanks! |

Me, too! Otherwise, maybe 8 on a weeknight? That way one parent can do bedtime while the other goes to the talk. |

at the library right before or after story hour?
Bring parents WITH their kids? Keep it short? Go to corporatoins and offer to do it for free/minimal amount? |

How about the week before school starts (at the end of Aug.) so it's fresh and pertinent in people's minds.
Do it during lunch hour and allow your audience (including kids) to sample what you are lecturing about. What a great focus group, right? If I were you, I would ask permission from a grocery store to do a quick 5 minute "express" lecture in the produce section of the grocery store. You'll get an audience for sure and the grocery store will profit because people will buy more (health) food. |
