I'm 16 weeks pregnant and craving the craptastic Mexican food of my youth in Georgia.
You know the type where the queso is white and combo 11 is that same everywhere? (a taco, a burrito and an enchilada). Does this exist in the DC area? (I like the good Mexican too, but I know where those places are) |
| Taco Bell? |

Food Trucks:
http://foodtruckfiesta.com/ Most of the "Mexican" in this area is made by Salvadorans so probably not what you remember. |
| Try Anitas. |
| Cactus cantina has that exact combo! |
| OP!! You are my kindred spirit. I'm implanted here from Georgia as well and crave this food WEEKLY. My favorite place was called El Sombrero- what I wouldn't give for some white queso. I have had a hard time finding this up here. Not enough Mexicans in the area- all the Mexican restaurants I find seem to be other people's interpretation of Mexican. |

OP here-- I'm sure some Californians and Texas think its disgusting, but my local was the SC-based chain called Monterreys or even better, the Greenville chain of el Jalisco.
The menu at both was exactly the same. Purchased at some low-end restaurant supply store. Combo 11, Vegetarian D or white queso! |
| Are you in dc, md, or va? |
DC. But will travel

| So hard to find here. I grew up on this too. If you travel this summer, El Rodeo in Virginia Beach and Kittyhawk. Has the delicious soggy white cheese nachos I dream about. |
