Does Sibley have any internet access (wifi or otherwise)?

This question may seem ridic...sorry. Preparing to have baby at Sibley soon and just wondered if anyone knows if there are internet capabilities? I am having a c-section and will be there for a few days. Would love to be able to email some people and let them know our big news!

I delivered there in '07 and they didn't have it then, but I guess it may have changed (knowing Sibley I kind of doubt it!). We used out Treos to send pictures. Do you or anyone in your have a PDA? The pictures aren't the best but they're better than nothing!

I was there last summer and wifi wasn't available in the rooms but there was sort of a library area where it was available.

Thanks for asking, OP. I'm delivering any day now at Sibley and wanted to know the same thing. I read on this board somewhere that there is Wifi in the cafeteria but that info was from about 6 months ago. I'm kind of hoping they have wifi in the rooms by now but that may be wishful thinking.

I was there for 5 days-c-section-and believe me when I say this will be the last thing on your mind! My husband is chained to his laptop-up until 2am-up at 7am-he trades. Never once did he express the need or desire to have internet access-and he never left the hospital during the entire stay!

Get a blackberry-you can send out emails.

I delivered at Sibley in February. My husband tried to use the wifi in the cafeteria at that time, but it was unreliable -- faded in and out. I don't know if it has changed. Good advice to get a blackberry to contact relatives. We used the cell phone.

My friend is at Sibley and emailing me often. Not sure if its on her blakberry or thru wifi.
