humidifier - cool mist or warm mist?

I've read conflicting things on humidifiers in the nursery.

Baby is due in November so it seems like a wise purchase...

But should I buy a cool mist or a warm mist humidifier?

Cool mist.

Cool mist is safer - no threat of burns to baby/toddler. But you have to be diligent about cleaning the cool mist ones to prevent bacteria growth, etc. which aren't such an issue with the steam ones.
