What's the commute time from McLean to downtown DC near Farrugut West?

Lest this sound like an off-topic question, we are considering a move to McLean for the schools. Our current commute is about 30 minutes in peak hour traffic, and I'm wondering how much longer it will be from McLean. Is there a "sweet spot" time for this commute?

What's the return commute time like during peak hours?

I live in McLean Hamlet and leave at 8 am and am almost always at my desk no later than 8:45. The same commute home usually takes me about an hour for some reason. DH leaves at 7:00 am and comes home at 8:00 (big law) and his commute is less than 30 mins each way. We both work near your office.

Where in McLean? It's a shorter commute from 22101 than from 22102.

I live in McLean but take metro from west falls and barring metro issues, I'm a happy commUter.

We live in Mclean Hamlet too, and commute to DC somewhere between Foggy Bottom and Farrugut West. Which route do you use daily? Thanks a lot!
