I have a thigh gap and muscular soccer player legs...I get lots of attention for them. I would hate to have that woman’s legs I just see chafing thighs if she ever went jogging. Way too thick.

As America becomes more obese, yes the body standards are changing.

But if you are talking UMC/Welathy establishment type folks, no. The Kardashians are NOT the standard of beauty. And neither is this chick.

The Carolyn Bessette type is still the ideal. Tall, slender, little jewelry, sophisticated looking, no flashy clothes, little to no curves . . .

We joined a country club last year and all the women are definitely thin. Very few fat people. Some older 50+ women are chubby but still well put together. The younger moms are all fit and healthy looking.

I think extra weight and curves can start to look frumpy or matronly as women get older. Curvy on a 24 year old is one thing but a more lean/athletic look is flattering with age.
