Sanders movement, all too often chose to attack rather than engage. I found this technique quite similar to Trumps. |
Wow. Just wow. Thank you, Donna! We love you for being honest here. |
Read the follow on links. Hillary raised over $500M and when she could by nomination, passed most of it on to state committees, the DNC itself and her campaign. If Bernie had gotten out of the race earlier, after he was eliminated but before Hillary had made it official, she could have passed more money on in a more timely basis. |

However, the memo also made clear that the arrangement pertained to only the general election, not the primary season, and it left open the possibility that it would sign similar agreements with other candidates. "Nothing in this agreement shall be construed to violate the DNC's obligation of impartiality and neutrality through the Nominating process. All activities performed under this agreement will be focused exclusively on preparations for the General Election and not the Democratic Primary," the memo states. |
Does anyone care to share a detailed accounting? HRC partisans claimed she raised the state committees a pile of cash, but I've also seen reports that much of that cash came back to Brooklyn. Absent an accounting, preferably an audited one, it's going to be hard to know who to trust. |
so basically, Brazille was wrong. |
According to reports, she raised something like $529M, with $168M going to the campaign, about $120?M going to the DNC and the rest to the states, including states she didn't win. |
Source? |
Lincoln actually got nominated in 1860 through the same kind of arrangement, over an overly radical abolitionist. I don't think the problem is really with the fixing. It's that Clinton just didn't have the right kind of emotional intelligence style and communication skills for this particular role. |

This is why a thorough accounting is desirable, especially in light of Brazile's allegation that the agreement was for a time kept from her. |
I know a couple of high up dem strategists/darlings. They don't think they lie, but they spin, spin, spin like there is no tomorrow. Everything is positive, great, grand! Mostly, I just don't believe anything they say. |
"Clinton Cash" - Look it up. |
The original documents were not marked confidential. The ones from wikileaks were.
|
Horrific. |
The Clintons and their surrogates have begun spinning this whole sorry saga to minimize the damage.
Wait for endless versions to come out with revisions and corrections and what not. This is their MO - you can't trust anything they say. |
