Or maybe you should care more about America than Israel your moron.

This post made my day.

99% of these protesters HATE America (that’s the membership criterion for the extreme left).

What do the protetstors want? For Columbia to stop the war? What morons. They deserve to go to jail for idiocy.

They want them to divest from any Israeli business and denounce the country. Neither of which are going to happen.

Maybe all of these kids should transfer and stop paying $70k / year to this school that enables genocide. Then maybe they'll listen.

You know Columbia’s acceptance rate, right?

They could replace these students 20 times over if they wanted to.

Columbia's acceptance rate and desirability is predicated on its brand, values and ability to attract the brightest of the bright, students and professors. I am sure the latter will have an easier time replacing Columbia than Columbia will have attracting the cream of the crop.

Do you really believe this?

Obviously. Most people, but particularly Intellectuals, do not want to attend or be employed by institutions that goes counter to their core beliefs and values, especially if its in servitude to donors or political expediency. Life is too short, the world is connected and research can be conducted elsewhere.

You need to spend some time of the college admissions board on DCUM.

Most people here would cut off their left foot to get their kid admitted to an Ivy.

That does not make their kids the cream of the crop. Once again, the "product" at Columbia and other Universities is the human capital of its students and professors. Columbia's competitiveness hinges on its ability to attract the though leaders and trailblazers of the future.

No, they LOVE America and want to shape it to reflect the values that most Americans share. Now, dual citizens who serve in a foreign army see America as a sugar mama.

I think the Ivy League will survive (and dare I say it, thrive after) a full-scale boycott from the pro-Israel mob.

NP. I saw a video tonight where the “kids” you are defending were screaming “Go back to Poland” at Jewish students. Something like 96% of Polish Jews were killed by the Nazis. Is this the side and behavior you are defending?

Except they are not Columbia students, they are confirmed agitators.

Al Jazeera news has video of students holding signs that Palestine will be free by any means necessary. Violence is being advocated for.

Jews are claiming to be scared to death of "WORDS" while Palestinian women and children are actually getting slaughtered by a Jewish ethono state. Y'all are full of jokes.

This absurd. This isn’t just a bunch of misguided students peacefully protesting what they view as the Israeli government overstepping their rights to self defense, this is radicals supporting a recognized international terrorist organization and actively calling for genocide and the dissolution of the Israeli State, often specifically targeting Jewish students, staff, and passers who have zero connection to the Israeli government, and denying Israel any right to defend their nation following 10/7.

Criticizing Israel is perfectly fine. Israel has, in the past, made decisions I do not agree with, but that is different then glorifying Hamas and denying Israel the right to measured self defense.

Stop being a snowflake. There are JEWISH students participating in the protests. Are they also subjected to "antisemitism" and violence? Present your evidence. These kids have no power to do anything but to voice their opinions on the matter - they lack the ability to make policy changes to end the genocide in Gaza. You should worry about the AIPAC crowd that owns your politicians, especially your Zionist president, Genocide Joe.

And? Those you're suggesting should boycott are certainly not the "cream of the crop" either.

Ugh. "Measured self defense" is not what Israel does. The best thing that can be said about it now is that it's no worse than some of the other tribal butchers in the region like Assad.

Really? Because Israel’s current offensive against Hamas has been impressively restrained and has proportionally killed far fewer Civilians then other recent conflicts. For a nation that is, according to the pro-Hamas protesters and terrorists, attempting to commit genocide, they are doing a really poor job.

Now Hamas, on the other hand, has repeatedly killed their own civilians, committed war crimes, and refused to negotiate in good faith.

You cited a Jewish "news' source. Hilarious!

Looks like mainstream America is sick of your Middle Eastern wars. Look at Candance Owens, Tucker Carlson. They are all sick of your wars.

Perhaps. But mainstream America always sides with Israel over Hamas. You won’t find a single “we support Palestine” flags in middle America, but you see “we support Israel” flags everywhere.

There is nothing mainstream America despises more than coddled, privileged rich kids “protesting” something which they know nothing about.

Meanwhile the likes of Stefanik are calling for her resignation for not being more of a Nazi.

Her days are numbered. Losing the support of Columbia faculty and students is more damaging to her survival in office than placating GOP members of Congress for a nano-second.

No you can continue to arrest and belittle your paying customers! The only things that matter are donations from right wing extremists, helping the settlements grow and crushing Muslim.

Seems like only the trespassing, violent, racist and antisemitic pro-terrorist "customers" are getting arrested. A small number of morons really. Columbia will do much better without them.

It is pretty funny to watch the leftists eat their own. It’s too bad that a once aspirational school like Columbia has to be destroyed in the process, but oh well. The popcorn is worth it

They went to far left they are now right.

Replacing the current 4.8 weighted/1600 SAT crowd with another 4.8/1600 crowd will not make the slightest difference.

These students are eminently replaceable.

I think these kids should take it a step further-protests on the steps of the Ivy League are small potatoes. They should really be using their connections to raise funds for personal volunteering in Palestine. Lobby their university to create a study abroad program in some Palestinian educational institutions. Work with the HRC to travel to spread awareness of LBGT issues.

Yeah, well, we supported slavery and opposed suffrage and civil rights pretty ardently at points in time, too. That's the camp you're in now - wouldn't want to be pro-Israel in the coming years as reckoning starts to arrive with little to no notice.

Omg, why is it so hard to get rid of student vermin?

So many snowflakes afraid to do what needs to be done. Just a clue from UCD:

Lol. I spent years at Berkeley and can assure you that this is 100% false.

Everything about America is wrong in their opinion. You name it, the far left hates it.

Drop the "Bell Curve" pretense - what will be replaced is 4.8 / 1470, and what will replace will be 4.8 / 1600. An upgrade, on many levels.
