She only got it because she was the only adult running. She would have lost big time this year - just like the first time she ran. |
Was Larry the vocal STEM teacher during covid? |
#1. And that last paragraph. 😓 Same. |
4 more years! 4 more years! I love triggering the snowflakes on DCUM. Everyone else has moved on but DCUM be like WWII soldiers stranded on deserted islands. |
Once APE stops talking about "learning loss" and the pandemic, I'll know that they moved on too. |
This whole post hurt because it's true. Miranda has no business being on the school board. But neither does Zuraya, Chen and Larry. I wish we had better choices, but here we are. At least Kathleen will win. Everybody better spend the next year begging Mary to run again. |
I just decided not to vote for Zuraya because her endorsements are getting obnoxious. Sierra Club. For real???
#2 is very reluctantly going to Larry. I'm not ranking anyone else. |
Clearly YOU have not moved on if you are referring to those who didn't vote for Miranda as snowflakes. This makes it very, very clear that Miranda doesn't represent anyone other than her APE base. Everyone else is just dismissed as a snowflake to you people. |
There are only three endorsements that should matter in Arlington's SB races: AEA - which I'm still side-eyeing why Kathleen didn't get an endorsement. ASHPA - have they even weighed in yet? If there was any endorsement Zuraya should have gotten, it's them. But they're pretty quiet. Hmmm. And finally Equality Arlington - they are pretty quiet too this round. The rest is just noise. Sierra Club is laughable. What do they do for APS and public schools in general? |
+100 Especially the AEA side-eye |
Seems like more and more people have to say that about APE. Maybe the clock is fixed? |
Miranda’s house has multiple KC signs. She must be an APE plant. |
+1 Once they all stop pushing their crap in committees and the SB then the rest of us can move on. |
That's how these snakes work. They throw out some freebies to try to build a little credibility and embed themselves in the community. They push RWNJ propaganda. https://www.baconsrebellion.com/wp/san-franciscos-algebra-for-none-policy-and-how-virginia-avoided-a-similar-fate/ |
This is how I'm voting, except swap them! My only concern is Kathleen seems a little one-dimensional (she knows A LOT about special education but seems a little loose on the some other stuff). She definitely deserves to be on the board though. |
