Sure, but dating Kelce is not going to bring Trump supporters into the fandom. He’s disliked by people on the right.

And she's still encouraging people to register to vote and being politically active on instagram. She is not catering to MAGAs that is just kind of a ridiculous assertion. She very intentionally made a decision to say she didn't care in the last election cycle. She had been famously apolitical until that moment.

16 pages of comments since her appearance at the game yesterday! She knows exactly what she is doing. As for the "how does Travis Kelce raise her profile at all," who could she fake-date at this point that is more famous than she is, bearing in mind she seems to only date white guys? Travis Kelce is not as famous as she is, but everybody is talking about it.

I think they are a cute couple. I also think this has been going on for a bit. I think him trying to give her his number on a friendship bracelet was a planted/planned thing. A way to test the waters of the relationship with fans after the Matty debacle. It was also a way to build up hype... will they, won't they... give him a chance, etc. How many different media outlets reported on the supposed romance?

I watched a video with a relationship expert who also believes they will be a good couple for a few reasons:
1. both are very family-centric
2. same age
3. both are very well-known/famous in their own arenas. Joe was also in the entertainment industry but he was basically a D-list person when compared to Taylor's name recognition. Travis is an A-list athlete with A-list name recognition like Taylor has.
4. both are outgoing people who like to be silly and don't take themselves too seriously

I can't remember other reasons.

Same! DM has been talking about this for weeks. I was also shocked there was no commentary on her drunken joy at the VMAs and dinner(s) out with Sophie Turner! She’s been making lots of headlines in the entertainment gossip circles lately.

This is giving me Tom Cruise -Katie Holmes energy. I thought that was all PR too but turned out they just like attention. So I predict they'll have some whirlwind romance, marriage and kid within 2 years, and in 7 years we'll get the divorce album right as Taylor turns 40. #bookit

+1 I don't see her ever really doing the traditional marriage and kids thing. I think she wants a kid maybe and will do that then they'll break up in a few years.

I don't really see this at all. There is an age of gap of 16 years between TC and KH and such an uneven power dynamic. Katie had some success in her career, but she was more like a working actress, and he was a blockbuster/megastar. Looking back, Katie seemed really naive. She was lucky to get out of the whole scientology/cult thing.

I don't understand why people seem to think it is unlikely for two celebrities to flirt, have crushes on each other and date?

This seems genuine to me although Travis K seems to not mind courting the media at all. Taylor, for her part, just came out of a 6 year old relationship where her ex did not want to be associated with her in public, so she is loving someone who likes and enjoys doting on her in public.

They're both successful and pretty equally famous in their own spheres, they both come from normal wholesome families and are both competitive and achievement oriented.

I can see this having a good run, if not ending in a marriage. They're both 33!
